We Hit Iowa Running!

Game 10: vs. Quincy in Burlington at 4:00 (3-1)

We may have had a little bus leg during that first half, but we played solid D, and we cashed an early deadball.

BWhite recognized Joey Caragher as his BWhite Player of the Match.  He was very good in the midfield, and he just gave us a great shift at the "9." We created a lot during the first 10 minutes of the second half.

Next—we need to score on that type of play.

We did cash 3 deadballs—two corners and one a la Parker.  We love the fact that we can play solid defense, score no goals from the field, but still win the match because we have taken our deadballs seriously.

We have moved into the Winners' bracket now, looking to make it to the finals. We will take on Mt. Carmel out of downtown Chicago tomorrow at 10.

We probably have lost Mitchel for tomorrow but hope to have Payne back.

We are now 7-3-0.
